Living waterfront we get all kind of weather in the span of a day. Today, the beaches are closed for “Beach Hazard” warnings. The waves are angry and taking it out on the shoreline. While down on the beach taking pictures, the most majestic piece of driftwood washes up. It was huge- yet the lake rolled it upon the beach like it was nothing. The colors were so diverse and vivid, yet you could tell they were from a hardship we would never know. Waves crashed against it, while the wood finally laid resting on the beach- grateful to catch its breath after such a journey…
